Where in the world are Passports to Fishing kits? South Australia π¦πΊ! This kit, sent in 2020, helped Reeling In - Junior Anglers put on their first-ever Kids Fishing Clinic! π£ On February 20, 2021, nearly 30 children participated in the inaugural event to learn about fishing regulations and tackle, tie knots, de-hook fish and cast a line. Overall, it was a very successful event, the first of many! ππΌ Lee Van Soest of Reeling In - Junior Anglers says, βThanks to IGFA for thinking of everything they could to bring such an awesome initiative to teach our kids to fish!!β The IGFA looks forward to more of these exciting angling education events in South Australia! Last month IGFA Representative Omar Khalifa held an IGFA seminar in Egypt πͺπ¬. Around 50 guests attended the session, where Omar was able to present the IGFA Rules & Regulations he had translated into Arabic. During the event, Omar and guest speaker Ahmed Zidane also discussed the process of submitting an IGFA World Record, ethical angling practices, and the importance of conservation.Also in attendance were IGFA Representatives Mohamed M.
